FEEDING DIRECTIONS
Our unique products are specially designed to help make raw feeding simple and convenient. All our products come in small cubes which thaw in minutes and are then ready to be served to your pet.
Frozen cubes
We recommend leaving your raw cubes in the freezer until you are ready to feed your dog. This scoop and serve approach makes meal time easy and convenient
- Thaw out the desired amount for at least 10 minutes, depending on room temperature.
- It is suggested to feed your pet between 2%-3% of their body weight per day. Feeding 2% of their body weight is recommended for losing weight. Feeding 4%-6% is recommended for kitten, puppies, and pregnant & nursing mothers.
- Please note, the suggested feeding amounts in the table above may vary +/-50% based on your pet’s activity level, age, metabolism, and other factors.
Freeze-dried
When feeding our freeze-dried formula to your dog or cat, we recommend following the guidelines based on rehydrating the cubes. Therefore, one standard measuring cup will contain approximately 4 ounces of rehydrated freeze-dried cubes.
USE OUR FEEDING CALCULATOR
The charts are based on a standard measuring cup. When cubes are frozen, a cup holds approximately 4oz. When feeding our freeze-dried formula to your pet, one standard measuring cup will then hold 4 ounces of rehydrated cubes.
This serves as a foundational guide; consider your dog's activity level, particularly if they engage in regular exercise, as a higher caloric intake may be necessary. Remember, you know your dog best; individual variations exist, you can adapt the guidelines to suit your dog's unique needs.
Raw diets are very beneficial for pets, but it’s important to take safety precautions when handling raw meats. Remember to wash hands, utensils, work surfaces, bowls and other items that come in contact with product with hot water and soap. Keep raw meat and poultry separate from other foods. If pet does not consume all of the food served within 30 minutes, discard the leftovers.
